Vault 

 – Cloud based storage

The Vault is a low-cost collation, encryption and storage service for Aware Call Recording customers. It is optimized for infrequently accessed data and where retrieval latency of several hours is suitable. With the Vault, customers can reliably store large numbers of calls and make significant savings compared to on-premises solutions.

 

The Vault is scaled such that you only pay for the service you need further reducing your costs, and you simply add further capacity when you need it. The Vault is backed up daily during low load times (typically at night), minimizing system impact. The design is specifically tailored to those with retrievals that are infrequent and where extended secure storage is expected. With that in mind, you will be able to retrieve up to 5% of your average monthly stored data (pro-rated daily) for free.

Data is transferred using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), and it automatically stores data encrypted at rest using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) 128, a secure symmetric-key encryption standard using 256-bit encryption keys. The Vault is designed based on the principle of '11 9's of durability' providing average annual durability of 99.999999999% for an archive.

The service redundantly stores calls in multiple facilities and on multiple devices within each facility. To further increase durability, the Vault synchronously stores your data across multiple facilities before returning SUCCESS on uploading archives as well as performs regular, systematic data integrity checks and is built to be automatically self-healing.

Only you can access calls. We have zero access to the stored data, ensuring access integrity.

There is no limit to the amount of data that can be stored and the service grows with your needs. In addition, you can choose to store your data in the region that meets your regulatory, throughout, and geographic redundancy criteria.

 

The Vault makes retaining calls for long periods, even measured in decades, simple.

Pricing is based on providing the service plus 100Gb initially at $100 per month.
